I found this pretty interesting since I am just learning this Twitter phenomenon myself. I understand that when Twitter was mentioned last week on The View, it brought the whole site down. They are getting a bunch of free press right now, their people must be jumping up and down right now with all the publicity.

I felt like that piece was a bit misleading because it only looked at Twitter's web traffic. An incredible amount of twitter comes across SMS, Twhirl, Twitterific, Tweetdeck, Stocktwits, and dozens of others. Almost no one who really uses twitter actually uses the twitter.com website.
